I want to say that the new owner's name is Access.I believe I read that on one of the feedback at. I previoulsy owned two of these space saver B&D coffee makers and I would like to purchase two more of them,if only I could find more.They are not made any longer.This is an older model and I loved the quickness of the automatic drip and liked the sneek-a-cup feature.It was small enough not to take up too much space under the cabinet and left plenty of room above the counter top.The price was right and this was the only coffee maker that lasted at least five years before beginning to leak water onto my counter top.Most coffee makers have only a 10 cup capacity but this one held 12 cups.I never had a problem with the clock steaming up,which I have read feedback on other newer models and this clock worked like a charm Never out of time.I went to and looked up space saver coffee mak ers and I read several opinions on the newer coffee makers.I am reluctant to purchase a newer model.I don't know why companies bother to fix something that "ain't broke",if you know what I mean.They think they are doing us a favor with new progress or newer features, however,I don't know how many new features one can add to a coffee maker but I am not happy about this particular model's discontinuation.All I can say is that this is one of the best that B&D has ever made.I,also,read that B&D no longer is making Coffee Makers and it was purchased by another company. Normally I am not set on any particular brand or model, but when you find a winner, why change? Read full review No sticking your hand inside to grab the basket.Ĥ.) Love the timer, especially at 5am in the morning.ĥ.) To me, the handle on th e pot is very well balanced - I don't feel when I am pouring a cup, the entire pot is going to pour out.Ħ.) The overall appearance is cleaner and more compact than standard coffee makers.
The reasons why I won't use another coffee maker:ġ.) A reservoir holds the water so you don't have to pour it from the pot into the actual coffee maker.Ģ.) I use it on my counter top (versus mounting it under a cabinet) and I like the fact that I can place things on it (I keep my favorite cup on top so it I have quick access!).ģ.) It is very easy to clean, especially the grounds and filter - just pull out the basket and turn it upside down to toss the grounds out. I am so sad that Black and Decker has stopped producing this model and I am now driven to buy previously owned ones.
